ROLLING WITH THE PUNCHES- I made a template out of a quarter sheet of cardstock and punched various sizes of circles in it. Then I laid this over bashful blue cardstock and rolled over it with the Snowman fun wheel with brilliant blue ink. Before removing the template, I outlined each circle with a white gel pen, then removed the template. I stamped the Snowman on whisper white and colored in. and mounted it on brilliant blue cardstock then on the bashful blue and mounted it all on Brilliant blue card base.
SCALLOPED FLOWERS- I punched out the scalloped circles and then slit each one on every other scallop so they looked like little hearts. Then sponged the edges and laid them face up on a spongy mat. Using the back end of my paper piercer, I pressed into each petal almost out to the edge to make the edges pop up, then I pressed into the center to make them pop more. And then added a ½ inch circle in the center of each flower. I mounted these on artichoke then hunter and mounted on soft suede card base
WATER WASHED BACKGROUND- I used watercolor paper and Dusty Durango, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry Ink. First I used a very wet aquapainter and brushed the top with Durango ink, then the middle with pumpkin Pie and bottom with Curry. You want the aquapainter very wet so you get ink on smooth slightly overlapping each color then go over it again with just water to blend better… Dry with heat gun, then I stamped the images from Nature Silhouettes Stamp set with black craft ink.
EASY PINWHEEL CARD- I punched out 8- 1 ¼ squares of doublesided designer paper, and adhered 4 to a 2 5/8” square of handsome hunter cardstock using Dotto repostional adhesive, I put the dotto on the green not each square. Then I lifted the edge of each square and inserted a square of other side of paper diagonally inside. Then once I was all finished with that, I mounted another 2 5/8” inch square of green on the back to finish off the matted look. I adhered all of that on kraft cardstock and mounted on another piece of hunter with small hunter photo corners and mounted on bravo burgendy card base.

Last week's projects
Just dawned on me that I never uploaded last week's projects!! Sorry! But better late than never so here they are!
Cracked Glass- I stamped the tree in Basic black and then I masked a circle using the ¾ “ circle punch and then dabbed on Elegant Eggplant, then Night of Navy and then Going Gray Inks. I removed the mask and colored the circle in with Curry Marker. Then I dipped the entire piece in Versamark and embossed with Glassy Glaze and repeated. Then I let it cool for a few minutes. Once cool, I bent the entire thing in all different directions to crack the embossing. I sponged on a little Gray ink to make it get in the cracks to give more of a antique look. I used the splashes from Extreme Elements in Eggplant ink and then used Curry cardstock to mat and mounted it all on Basic Gray Card base
Faux Tin For this card I took a piece of Metallic Silver Cardstock and ran it through big shot with in an embossing folder. After it is embossed, flip it over to the indented side and with Basic Gray Ink. Mount it to Black cardstock and then on a Basic Gray card base. The Best Wishes is stamped in Basic Gray also on Metallic Silver and punched out with the Large Oval punch and mounted on a Black Scalloped Oval.
Salt Frosted Edges- I stamped the snow flakes in Bashful Blue and then punched them out using the Boho Blossoms punch. I popped a few up with dimensionals and just adhered the rest. I stamped the very merry with Ballet Blue. I assembled the ballet blue and Bashful Blue cardstocks together and then I used Mono multipurpose adhesive and LIGHTLY covered the edges of the Ballet Blue and then scooped it through a tray of table salt… This gives the “frosted” look
Stenciling- I punch out the ornament with the ornament punch and used the outline. Then I ran the Merry Details Sizzlit through the Big shot and also used the outline piece. I used these as stencils and sponged Soft Suede in the ornament shape and the then sponged the gold on the ‘cap’ of the ornament. Then using the merry details I sponged silver ink into the different shapes to decorate the Ornaments.

One of this month's club projects...
Stampin Class Projects
Fauz Metal Tag For this card Whisper White for the card base, Bravo Burgundy for the mat,and Basic Gray, Metallic Silver. I stamped the flower and words with basic gray ink. For the Faux metal tag, I preinked the bird stamp with versamark and set it aside, I punch a square out of basic gray cardstock and covered it in versamark ink. Added silver embossing powder and heated, let cool for a second and repeated, while it was still hot I pressed the versamark inked bird stamp into it to make the impression. Then I assembled the card.
Stained Glass technique- I used a bashful blue card base, black and white cardstock,& vellum cardstock. I stamped the image from Holy Family on the vellum with Black craft ink and the star in summer sun craft ink and embossed both with clear powder. Then I flipped it over and colored the back with Summer Sun, Brocade Blue, creamy caramel, close to cocoa and blush blossom markers. I then cut the black strips of cardstock diagonally on the corners to create a frame and adhered the vellum to the strips to make the frame, I added to 2 silver brads to each corner. I adhered the white cardstock to the center of the blue base and then attached the corners of frame to the card with dimensionals
PUNCHED BIB- I used So saffron, whisper white and certainly celery cardstock and saffron & celery inks. I punched a scallop out of designer paper and stamped a 1 3/8” circle, stamped the birdie from Nursery Neccessities on the circle, and adhered it to the scallop. Then using the 1 1/4 “ punch to cut out a small section of the matted circle to make it shaped like a bib and added a little ribbon for the bib ties. I tore the saffron cardstock and adhered white to the torn edge
SOOT Stamping- I used basic gray card base, and dusty Durango mat. I took a piece of glossy cardstock and moved it quickly back and forth through the flame of a candle. Keep the cardstock moving so it doesn’t catch on fire. Be sure not to touch the soot because it will wipe off very easily. I stamped the images into the soot using Dusty Durango ink. Then lightly sprayed with hairspray to seal the soot.

Sanded Textured Background For this card I used Dusty Durango for card base and soft suede for the textured piece, I stamped the pumpkin and words in Durango ink and the leaves in suede. The words were punched with the modern label punch. I ran the suede piece through the big shot using the Final Press Embossing Folder. Then lightly sanded the raised imprint with a sanding block to give it a little fuzzy texture.
Striped Pastel Background- So this week I stole an idea Ruthann showed me. I rubbed orange, green, and brown pastels lightly on a piece of very vanilla card stock using sponge dauber and then stamped the pumpkin using pumpkin pie ink and erased the pastels from the inside of the pumpkin and then erased strips in the background. I sponged orange pastels back inside the pumpkin and added a little green to stem, and stamped his face in basic brown and added the happy Halloween. I stamped the garden green card base with brown gourds and added hemp bow with a mini glue dot.
MULTICOLORED BACKGROUNDS- This is a easy but elegant background technique. I used the Medallion Background stamp and pale plum card stock matted with Perfect Plum card stock. First I stamp the Medallion randomly with Pale Plum ink, and then with Perfect Plum Ink… Clean the stamp thoroughly and then stamp over both of these with White Craft Ink. I wrapped white grosgrain ribbon around both corners and adhered it to back of the Pale Plum and mounted it on the Perfect Plum mat/base. Then I stamped the Elegant Thank You in Perfect Plum and punched it out and matted on a 1 ¾ Circle with a dimensional to pop it up a little.
Layered Lattice- I used Brocade Blue card base and Whisper White cardstock, brocade ink and ribbon and the new Lattice die cut for the big shot. I ran 2 pieces of white cardstock through the big shot using the lattice die, and turned them diagonally and adhered to each other using mini glue dots. I added a brad and adhered to card. Then using mono multipurpose adhesive, I highlighted areas of the design and added dazzling diamond glitter. I stamped Happy on a 1” strip of cardstock and adhered to the bottom. Then I punched the largest hole of the crop a dile holding it all the way in from bottom center of cardstock. And laid the ribbon flat over the front of card and brought ends around and up through hole and tied a knot around the ribbon. This locks bow on card.

Wow!!
This card was inspired by ConnieM and I had to try out a modified version of it!! It turned out awesome! I used the Branch Out set that is currently on the Dormant List (meaning you can order it, but it is not in the current catalog).
Layered Embossing- First stamp the tree from Branch Out Stamp set in Chocolate Craft Ink and emboss with clear. Then stamp the snowflakes with white craft ink and emboss. Next taking a template made from the 1 ¾” punch. Place it over the tree leaving the hole where you want the moon, holding template in place first fill circle by sponging Banana ink in hole, then sponge on some Curry and finally some mustard ink. Without moving the template, press versamark over template to cover the circle with versamark, remove template and emboss with clear. Sponge caramel ink over the center where the tree and moon is… then sponge chocolate chip around the edges. Using a white gel pen highlight the tree limbs of tree… Then I just smeared a little white ink on the torn piece of chocolate chip cardstock and assembled card! I think it turned out gorgeous!
